Restitution of conjugal rights
Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act talks about the restitution of conjugal rights. It is a legal entitlement in which the aggrieved party may apply to the district court for the restitution of conjugal rights if the spouse of the party has left the other party’s company without any valid reason.

Basically, the restitution of conjugal rights is regaining the companionship of a spouse who has abandoned the relationship for no apparent reason.
Before applying for the restitution of conjugal rights these two requisites should be fulfilled-
- Spouses must not be together
- The withdrawal of the party must be without any reasonable reason.
We at Chaklan and Associates assist and facilitate in matters of Restitution of Marriage if your spouse has withdrawn from your company.
